Harmonious World

Chatting with pianist and composer Erik Deutsch

Hilary Seabrook Season 22 Episode 305

Welcome to the latest episode of Harmonious World, in which I interview musicians about how their music helps make the world more harmonious.

Pianist and composer Erik Deutsch is a busy musician, famous particularly in recent years for his work with The Black Crowes. His new album, This Was Then, came out earlier in the summer and thanks to Nigel for allowing me to use clips from it alongside our conversation.

Don't forget the Quincy Jones quote that sums up why I do this: "Imagine what a harmonious world it would be if every single person, both young and old, shared a little of what he is good at doing."
