Harmonious World
Harmonious World consists of interviews with great musicians, composers and producers across all genres, from jazz to classical, from folk to rock and everything in between. I’m a writer, musician and podcaster and this all started with a Quincy Jones quote I came across by chance during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown: “Imagine what a harmonious world it could be if every single person, both young and old, shared a little of what he is good at doing." I'm so pleased to have interviewed - and will continue to interview - so many great musicians from around the world.

Welcome to the latest episode of Harmonious World, in which I chat with soprano Nanette McGuinness from Ensemble for These Times.
I've been listening to the E4TT album The Guernica Project and we discuss the individual movements of Guernica, as well as the other fascinating tracks.
Thanks to Nanette and E4TT for allowing me to play extracts from The Guernica Project alongside our conversation. I apologise for the incorrect listing of the tracks - the start is actually 'Mi corazon se ha dormido' by David Garner and the final one is the fourth movement from David's song cycle. Now you have to listen to the whole album to get the correct tracks!
Get in touch to let me know what you think!

Don't forget the Quincy Jones quote that sums up why I do this: "Imagine what a harmonious world it would be if every single person, both young and old, shared a little of what he is good at doing."
