I was joined in conversation by Ben Brown and Dominic Conway from Malleus Trio: their new album On/Off is out now and if you like some of the jazz crossover acts like Keith Jarrett and Sons of Kemet, you'll love this album.
On/Off is the trio's third album, but they've been around since 2007 and there's a collective maturity about their music - drums, tenor and bass - that brings a subtlety and collective interplay that is joyous.
Thanks to Malleus for allowing me to play extracts from On/Off alongside our conversation.

Don't forget the Quincy Jones quote that sums up why I do this: "Imagine what a harmonious world it would be if every single person, both young and old, shared a little of what he is good at doing."
